This tutorial was written by Serina on the Nov. 25th 2008. Any similarity to any
other tutorials is purely coincidental. Tutorial was written using PSP X2 but
should work in any other versions to.
Supplies
Tube of choice. I am using the fabulous artwork of Jose A. Cano which you can
purchase through MPT.
PTU Scrap kit, Christmas Traditions by
Bittersweet Designs
which you can purchase either
HERE or HERE
Font of your choice, I used one called ChristmasTree Regular.

600 x 600 white canvas
Copy/paste frame of choice that will match your tube. Image - resize by 55%
Select Magic Wand tool - click inside white space of frame. Selections - Modify
- Expand by 7
Copy/paste paper of choice. Image - Resize by 50%. Selections - Invert -
hit delete on keyboard
Selections - Select none. Drag this layer below the
frame layer.
Copy/paste a bow of your choice - resize it by 50% and then place it at the top
of the frame. See my
tag for placement
As you can see the ribbon is hanging off the canvas. So lets trim it a little.
Using your selection tool sent to rectangle, select a small
bit of the ribbon, then hit delete. See preview!
Selections - select none. There's still ribbon on
the outside of the canvas so using your move tool
drag the ribbon down a bit, and then select the
rest of the hanging ribbon that you don't want, and
delete it.
Move the ribbon back into place now. Give it a drop
shadow of Offset Vertical -2, Offset Horizontal -1,
Attributes Opacity 30, Blur 3, Color black.
Copy/paste your tube of choice and position it
where you like.
Now you can add your own embellishments. I used the
Rudolf and the Snowman, both resized at 40%.
Position those where you like on your tag. Then I
added the flower branch, resized to 50%, position
it where you like, then I duplicated it, mirrored
it and positioned it on the other side of the
frame.
Copy/paste the beaded string tag as new layer. Add
whatever text you like to it and rotate the text 90
degrees right, and position it in place. X out all
the other layers except the tag, and the word
layers you just added, and merge visible. Resize
the tag by 80% and then place it where you like on
your tag. I also decided to add a flower in the
right hand corner. Play around till you have
something you like.
To finish off the tag I decided to add the doodles,
so copy/paste the doodles of your choice and
position them where you like.
Add your copy write info, license info and name.
Delete the white background layer, merge visible.
Resize your tag by about 85%. And you're all done.
