Be Mine Valentine

This tutorial was written by Serina on the January 15th 2009. Any similarity to any other tutorials is purely coincidental. Tutorial was written using PSP X2 Ultimate but should work in any other versions to. Supplies Scrap kit "Love Letters" by Clarey which you can purchase HERE Mask WSL_Mask80.jpg by Chelle which you can get HERE Tube by Dominic Marco which you can purchase through CILM Please note I am using the full sized kit not the taggers size so if you are using the taggers size play around with your resizing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ New canvas white 700 x 700 Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_notion1 to your new canvas as a new layer. Image - Resize - 50% Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_notion2 to canvas, Image - Resize - 28%. Image - Flip. Position it as in my tag. Copy/paste tube of your choice, and position it where you like. Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_hearts and resize - 15% Image - Mirror, place this one behind the tube on the left side or wherever you like on your tag. Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_hearts again and resize - 20%. Image - Mirror, place this one as in my tag or wherever you like on yours. Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_wordart2 to your canvas. Image - Rotate - 90 degrees left. Image Resize - 25%, position it where you like. Duplicate this layer so that it stands out more. Copy/paste clarey_loveletters_doodleart3. Image Resize - 20% Image - Flip. Position this at the top right corner of the heart. Copy/paste the same doodleart3 again, resize by 20%. Image - Free Rotate - 90 degrees right. Drag this layer below the big heart layer, and position it where it is on my tag. Now copy/paste clarey_loveletters_doodleart1 Image - resize - 20%. Position this layer right below the brown strip. Copy/paste any of the wax seals, resize by 15%. Position it on the wide brown paper. If you have a pitchfork and want to put the "Be Mine" slip like I have, copy/paste it over to the canvas, Image - rotate - right by 50 degrees. Resize by 30%. Position it over the pitchfork where you want it. "X" out the word label layer. Go to the pitchfork layer, zoom in till your comfortable and can see well, and using your free hand tool select the bit you want to delete of the paper so it looks like the pitchfork went thru it. See preview: Now to add a background, copy/paste paper of your choice. Drag the layer so its just right above the background layer. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - select WSL_Mask80.jpg from the dropdown. Hit okay. Right click on the mask layer, delete, merge group. Drag the mask to the top left a bit, then duplicate it, and mirror then flip it and drag it out to the bottom right a little bit. Now add your text to the wide brown strip, add your copy write information and watermark/lic. #. Right click on the white background, and delete it then merge visible. Resize to your liking.  Your tag is finished :) Hope you enjoyed the tut.
